Anthony Hughes Biography
Anthony is passionate about helping individuals change their lives and fulfill their true career potential. He is the co-founder and CEO of Tech Elevator, a demand-driven in-person educational platform designed to support the rapid acquisition of technology skills that can lead to meaningful careers and promotions in tech-related fields. Tech Elevator operates campuses in multiple cities and supports companies as they look to reskill employees into technology roles. Anthony previously served as President of the Software Guild, an Ohio-based coding bootcamp which was acquired by Learning House in April 2015. Anthony also worked for JumpStart a nationally recognized economic development organization focused on startups. At JumpStart, in partnership with MIT, Anthony founded the Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program, which matched serially successful entrepreneurs and executives with budding technology entrepreneurs in mentoring relationships.
Chuck Xenakis Biography
Starting his career as a technology “headhunter” in the days before email and the internet were mainstream, Chuck now has over 23 years experience in various recruiting roles. After spending nine years working for various agencies and consulting firms, he formed his own corporation offering professional technology recruiting services in the Financial and Retail markets. One year later, he joined JPMorgan Chase as the Retail Technology Recruiting Manager.
Currently he is responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions to hire ~3,000 technologists annually in Chicago, Columbus (OH), Dallas, and Houston as the Technology Recruiting Director at JPMorgan Chase. During his 13 years with the firm, he has specialized in Technology Recruiting, but has also had the opportunity to lead recruiting for Digital, Analytics, Marketing and Finance.
Chuck is a graduate of The Ohio State University and is married with two daughters who love to go to metal concerts with him. He’s an avid foodie and craft beer enthusiast.
