The U.S. Fintech Symposium Terms and Conditions
June 4th - June 6th, 2024 - Oak Brook, Illinois

The following Terms and Conditions outline the rights, responsibilities, and expectations governing participation in the 2024 U.S. Fintech Symposium ("Event"), organized by TreaSolution, Inc. (“TreaSolution”). The term "Attendee" refers to an individual attendee or an employee attending on behalf of their employer attending the Event on June 4 - 6, 2024. The Attendee certifies they are at least 18 years old. By attending the Event, Attendees, or their representatives, certify their eligibility and commitment to these terms. It is crucial to review and understand these conditions before attending, as attendance signifies agreement and compliance with all stipulations herein. Please carefully review and acknowledge these terms before participating in the conference.
CONTENT DISCLAIMER AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR VERIFICATION: All content presented or discussed at the Event is commentary and not professional advice. Attendees requiring expert assistance should consult competent professionals. The Attendee and the Attendee's employer acknowledge that TreaSolution may express an opinion on a topic, which may vary from their own or a third party’s opinion. Both the Attendee and the Attendee's employer shall remain responsible for using their best efforts to verify and validate the information provided during the Event.
RECORDING AND MATERIALS USAGE: Attendees agree not to record the Event in any format. All Event content is copyrighted and may not be reproduced or duplicated in any form. This restriction applies to Attendees and their respective employers.
OWNERSHIP AND USAGE OF MATERIALS: TreaSolution retains copyright and phonorecord protection over all Event materials. Attendees and their employers agree not to share or release TreaSolution's documents or electronic media without written consent from TreaSolution.
RECORDING AND IMAGE RELEASE: Attendees, including their employers, consent to the recording of their voice, name, and image during the Event, allowing TreaSolution to use and alter recordings in perpetuity for any purpose.
HEALTH AND SAFETY DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY RELEASE: Attendees and their employers acknowledge the inherent risks linked to public event attendance, releasing TreaSolution, its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, sponsors, partners, speakers, affiliates, or volunteers from any liabilities related to illness, injury, or health issues stemming from event participation. They commit to following health guidelines from relevant authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and assume all risks associated with attendance, understanding that TreaSolution holds no liability for health-related concerns arising during the Event.
ATTENDEE COMMUNICATIONS: Attendees agree to receive communications from TreaSolution and third parties and grant TreaSolution the right to share Attendee contact information with third parties.
CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Attendees and their employers must review the latest version of the "The U.S. Fintech Symposium Terms and Conditions" posted on the conference website before attending. Attendance implies agreement to these terms. The latest Event Terms & Conditions is located at:

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES: TreaSolution provides content on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, disclaiming all implied warranties. TreaSolution shall not be liable to the Attendee or the Attendee's employer for incidental, indirect, consequential or special damages arising out of or relating to the Event. Attendees, including their respective employers, acknowledge that TreaSolution assumes no responsibility for any losses, damages, or inconveniences incurred as a result of relying on or attending the Event.
EVENT CHANGES OR CANCELLATION: Attendees and their employers acknowledge TreaSolution's authority to change or cancel the Event at any time.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: TreaSolution's total liability for any claims arising from this agreement shall not exceed the total registration fee paid by the Attendee or their employer.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: TreaSolution will make best efforts to refund the Event registration fee for individual cancellation requests received by email before 12:00 PM CST on February 15, 2024; however, fees become non-refundable after this time. Upon email request, TreaSolution may transfer an Attendee's Event registration (excluding the Fintech Bundle) to another person within the same organization between February 15, 2024 and April 30, 2024; however, no registration transfers will be processed after April 30, 2024. The Fintech Bundle, exclusive to the same organization, can be transferred to another person before April 30, 2024, with all Fintech Bundle registrations remaining non-refundable.
SPEAKER MODIFICATIONS: TreaSolution reserves the right to make modifications to the speaker lineup or event schedule, including but not limited to changes in speakers, session topics, or timing.
INDEMNIFICATION: The Attendee and the Attendee's employer agree to indemnify, defend, and hold TreaSolution harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to the Attendee's or the Attendee's employer's breach of these terms or any negligent or wrongful act or omission by either the Attendee or their employer.
VENUE AND JURISDICTION: Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Illinois. Both parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Illinois for the resolution of any disputes arising from or related to these terms. Prior to initiating formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve any disputes through amicable discussions or negotiations in good faith. In the event that a dispute is initiated by the Attendee or the Attendee's employer and TreaSolution prevails, TreaSolution shall be entitled to reasonable legal costs and fees incurred. Any legal dispute initiated more than one year from the date of the event shall be deemed void and non-binding.
FORCE MAJEURE: TreaSolution shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, governmental restrictions, natural disasters, or labor disputes.
SEVERABILITY: If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid one that most closely represents the original intent.
