John previously also founded the world’s first online brokerage (in the 90s) which was acquired by Morgan Stanley. |
Sankat Patel

Sankat Patel is Senior Vice President & Director of Strategic Alliances - Treasury Management at Fifth Third Bank.
His background includes more than twenty years of experience in Treasury Management, supporting a wide variety of industries. Sankat has lead Fifth Third Bank - National/Large Corporate, Middle Market and Business Banking Treasury Management Sales teams. Throughout his career, Sankat has worked in; operations, project management, implementation, process improvement, acquisition integration and Treasury management sales at various financial institutions. Prior to banking, he was an IT Consultant for the financial services industry. In his current Director role he leads Product teams that drive Strategic Alliances including Merchant solutions, Healthcare payments, Emerging Strategy Retail and the Fifth Third Bank Fintech Solutions (Embedded Payments) Strategy. These teams support over $150Million in annual business service charges. Sankat is based out of Chicago, IL. |
Jamie Walker

Jamie Walker has been with Elavon since 2001 and served as chief executive officer since 2017. He is responsible for Elavon’s global acquiring business, operating with more than 4,000 employees in the United States, Canada and throughout Europe.
Since joining Elavon, Walker’s leadership roles have spanned many areas. They include leading accounting operations, managing acquisitions and international expansion as chief financial officer, and assessing risk and opportunities for strategic growth in the role of chief administrative officer for U.S. Bank’s Payment Services division. Prior to Elavon, Walker was a senior accountant at Ernst & Young. Walker holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Marketing from Emory University. He is active in the Atlanta community and serves on the board of directors for the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber of Commerce, Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) and American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC). |
