Edward Woodford Biography
Edward Woodford is the CEO of Seed CX, a Chicago-based institutional digital asset exchange, which through its subsidiaries offers a market for trading and settlement of spot digital assets, and plans to offer a separate market for CFTC-regulated derivatives. Seed CX was co-founded by Brian Liston and is backed by Bain Capital Ventures among others.
Prior to Seed CX, Edward he gained experience at a series of hedge funds. Edward holds a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from University of Warwick and a Master of Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, specializing in commodities. He was named in Forbes' 30 Under 30 and Crain’s Chicago 20 in their 20s lists in 2018.
