In this talk, George & Adam will talk about the realities of customer centricity in large companies, including A) How most (maybe all) companies originally had it, and lost it, B) Misconceptions about what customer centricity is, how to get it, and how to use it effectively for business success, C) Challenges most companies face in “bringing customer centricity back” & what’s needed to overcome them and D) What to do if you feel your company has lost its way with your customers.

George Schlitz Biography
George Schlitz has been helping leaders effect change and improvement in large companies for over 20 years. George founded an agile and lean transformation consultancy in 2006, eventually selling it to a larger company, which was ultimately acquired by Accenture – where he was a Managing Director as a Global Lead for Business Agility. In 2021, he left Accenture to form a new company – Adaptivity – with Jeff Leach, in order to bring the experiences, learning, and methods of guiding and nurturing impactful change to leaders of large organizations. George has also held positions leading various aspects of software product development at State Street Corp. and Fidelity Investments. He has an MBA from Bentley College as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Finance & Operations Management and Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts. George is also a U.S. Army veteran – with experience as an enlisted soldier and as a commissioned officer.
